How does the LG washing machine clutch operate when braking?

During the normal operation of the washing machine, the braking operation includes two cases. One is the brake at the end of normal dehydration, and the other is the brake due to the opening of the upper cover during the dehydration operation. So, in this process, how does the LG washing machine clutch operate?
When the dehydration is completed, the electromagnet of the motor and the LG washing machine clutch will be powered off, and the moving core will be restored automatically. Therefore, it will block the rotating brake belt, while the brake belt and spring sleeve will produce a certain resistance.
Under the action of resistance, the rotation speed of the spring sleeve of LG washing machine clutch will become more and more slow. And then the torsional spring is tightened, the power will be transferred to the brake disc through the inner hub, so that the tumble dryer of the washing machine stops rotating and reaches the braking.
So, when the upper cover of the washing machine is opened, how do  complete the brake? In order to ensure the safety, a safety switch is set up on the upper cover of the washing machine when designing. When dehydration, if the upper cover of the washing machine is opened, the safety switch will act accordingly, cutting off the power of the electromagnet and motor of the LG washing machine clutch.
When the power supply is cut, the moving core of the washing machine will be restored, so that a certain sliding resistance will be generated between the brake belt and the spring sleeve, so that the torsional spring of the LG washing machine clutch is tightened. Then the power will be transferred to the brake disc through the inner hub, and the brake begins to work, stopping the tumble dryer.
