In the LG washing machine, the LG washing machine clutch device is one of the key components to achieve its good operation. That is, the forward and reverse washing operation and the dewatering operation of the washing machine are mainly realized by the LG washing machine clutch.

 

The main function of the LG washing machine clutch device is as follows: during washing, the deceleration clutch provides power for low-speed operation of the pulsator; when dehydrating, the deceleration clutch provides high-speed running dehydration power for the inner barrel.

 

The main components of the LG washing machine clutch device include gear shaft, ratchet pawl, ratchet wheel, square wire clutch spring, clutch cover, dehydration shaft and brake wheel. Among them, the gear shaft and the clutch cover are mated together through splines or splines. The brake wheel is assembled on the outside of the dehydration shaft and is coaxially linked with the dehydration shaft. The clutch sleeve is generally made of powder metallurgy material. The dehydration journal and the outer surface of the clutch sleeve are very smooth, and the winding wire spring is entangled with the gear shaft and the dehydration. The axis is coaxial but not linked.

 

During the washing process, the ratchet arm in the clutch assembly of the LG washing machine is acted upon by a torsion spring of the ratchet arm, and the ratchet is inserted into the front end of the pawl to rotate the ratchet counterclockwise by an angle (about 19 degrees). At this time, the radial head of the clutch spring inserted in the ratchet groove rotates at a corresponding angle with the ratchet. However, the top is still fixed on the brake wheel cover neck shaft due to tight fitting, so that the lower end of the square wire clutch spring is loosened to leave the clutch sleeve, so that the brake wheel cover shaft and the gear shaft (input shaft) Disengagement, then the gear shaft will drive power through the planetary reducer deceleration output drive pulsator rotation.

 

In the dehydration process, as the machine runs, the pawl in the LG washing machine clutch device is pulled apart, the ratchet pawl and the ratchet wheel are separated, the square wire clutch spring is reset, and the lower end is tightly clutched. Since the clutch sleeve and the gear shaft are fitted together, the brake wheel cover neck shaft and the dewatering shaft are matched together, the LG washing machine clutch gear shaft is combined with the dehydration shaft through the wire spring clutch spring to achieve dehydration.
