Usually, the washing machine clutch is mainly composed of brake disc, brake plate, clutch electromagnet, spring sleeve, torsional spring, anti - reversal spring, brake belt, inner hub and gear down components.
In the washing and rinsing process of the washing machine, how does the clutch work? When the washing machine runs, it can be divided into two situations. One is rotating clockwise, and the other is rotating counterclockwise. In these two states, what is the operation of the washing machine clutch?
Let's first analyze the main situation of the clockwise rotation of the washing machine. At this time, the electromagnet of the washing machine clutch is not energized, the brake belt is blocked by the moving core, so the spring sleeve can’t turn. The torsional spring is released by the spring sleeve so that the torque of the wheel hub will not be transferred to the inner hub. At the same time, the torsional spring is tightly coiled, and combined together with the inner hub. The torque of the tumble dryer is returned to the inner hub. Then the inner hub will be combined with the brake disc.

In this case, when the power of the tumble dryer of the washing machine is transferred to the brake disc, a certain amount of friction is generated, thereby preventing the tumble dryer turning. The torque generated by the motor will be transferred to the impeller shaft through the pulley and gear components to rotate clockwise. While rotating in the counterclockwise direction, the electromagnet of the washing machine clutch is also in the power off state.
