What's the difference between the end face friction disc washing machine clutch?

With the continuous improvement of the technical level, the clutch devices arranged in the washing machine also include a variety of different structural designs. In order to achieve better results, a deceleration clutch called end face friction disc was designed. The brake mechanism of such a washing machine clutch is placed at the lower end of the washing machine clutch housing instead of in the middle of the reducer housing.

 

At the same time, the clutch structure design of the washing machine also eliminates the clutch lever mechanism, and the brake electromagnet is designed at the lower end, and the work of the washing machine is achieved through two square wire coil springs and a clutch sleeve. In comparison, the advantage of this type of clutch is that it eliminates the need for a certain degree of simplification of the structure of the clutch lever mechanism, and the brake device efficiently realizes the conversion between washing and dehydration, while reducing noise and vibration.

 

So, what is the structural composition of this type of end friction disc washer clutch? In addition, the most fundamental difference between this end friction disc washer clutch and other clutches is that it uses an end face brake disc and a helical brake spring. The brake force of the face brake disc is provided by three pressure springs. To increase the brake torque, it is sufficient to increase the stiffness of the pressure spring.

 

During the operation of the washing machine clutch, the friction disc does not enter the rotating part during the dehydration process, because the brake spring is in a free state, and it is in clearance fit with the brake fixing sleeve embedded on the friction disc. Therefore, the size of the pressing force of the washing machine clutch pressure spring has nothing to do with the control of the dehydration.
